Fitting Side Rails Upper & Lower
Dum Dum (silicone or butyl) to be spread on under face of side rail upper. Place in position front end fitting into cut outs in front rail. Drill through two holes each side going through stiffeners at the front and rivet up. Starting at center of rails place internal gauge between side rails (fig. 22) (you will have to make this part our of anything straight and flat) and drill 1/4” dia. through center hole in left hand upper rail through body, place left hand lower rail, with notch at front, in position and screw through rails to secure (fig 11). Repeat on right hand. Drill & rivet two holes in upper side rails, right hand and left hand, at rear through the body stiffener. Move internal gauge to next pair of fixing holes drill through and secure with screws and sleeve nuts. Repeat until rails are assembled.
Marking & Securing Rear Section
NOTE: The rear rail has four holes drilled to suit self tap screws. The location of these holes must be transferred to the body.

Mark position of four fixing holes on front wall of section indicated thus xxx, place the rear rail in position holding flush with edge of aperture. Mark hole location on body top drilling 4 fixing holes ¼” back from aperture edge. Secure rail in position with 4 self tap screws provided.
