NOTE:  This sizing diagram applies to the universal canvas folding sunroof kit and the street beat style universal sliding ragtop kit or folding sunroof kit only.  Does not apply to Britax sunroofs, Sunway sunroofs, Golde sliding  ragtops or folding sunroof kits. The street beat style sliding ragtop kit part numbers designate the finished size.  Earlier versions of the Weathershield sunroof, Sunway, Sunway II and Britax MKII folding sunroof kits had part numbers such as 3030, 3036, 3636 which all designated the approximate hole size required in the vehicle roof.  In order to understand the street beat style sliding ragtop kits, please review the diagram.  The example given illustrates the various dimensions for our street beat style 35x35 folding sunroof.  When you order a 35x35" sliding ragtop, the finished top when closed and latched measures 35x35".  The actual frame size is two inches narrower and one inch shorter or 33" x 34".    The actual hole size is an additional inch smaller in every direction, two inches narrower than the frame overall and two inches shorter from front to back.  For our universal sliding ragop size 35" x 35", the frame measures 33w x 34l and the required hole in the vehicle is 31w x 32l.
