Sunway folding sunroofs came flooding to the United States in the 1970's for "factory" installation as an option on all sorts of makes and Models. The most common though still very rare was the special Nova Skytop followed closely by the Buick Skylark Suncoupe. AMC, Studebaker and Chrysler had their entries in the new sliding ragtop market during the same time frame. Probably best know in the Britax brand, early sliding ragtop models are sometimes referred to as Weathershield sunroofs, Sunway ragtop or sunroofs, Sunway II, Britax folding sunroof, Webasto folding roofs or simply canvas sunroofs.
